Smokin' in St. Louis

Hey gang! I just wanted to say hello. I've cooked on several different types of pits over the past couple of years (off-set, ECB, gas etc.) but after lurking here for ~6 mos I finally got over the price tag and bought a Large BGE today at lunch.[p]I'm anxious to get her home and get cookin' this weekend. I've already learned much from you all and I look forward to the joys of being an official member of this club. Now if someone could just show me the handshake......[p]Regards,
Braddog

Braddog,
Welcome, you won't have any regrets. -RP

Braddog,
You might want to be careful who you ask to show you the "handshake" because answers will vary. Lol.
Congrats and welcome.

nutcase,[p] You have to read all of the The Naked Whiz's web site and all of WessB's web site and pass a 2000 question quiz to get the handshake. Or you can just answer a few newbie questions here [p][p]

Braddog,[p]Congratulations, you will find it money well spent. With a little practice, the food you make will improve 100%. And then another 100%.[p]gdenby

thirdeye,[p]I see you're familiar with St. Louis! 8>)[p]

Braddog,[p]Welcome. The only regrets you have are a bigger waistline but you'll enjoy every single bite.[p]Be wary of those that tickle your palm when ya give em a shake.

Braddog,[p]The outlaws on Mrs t's side of the family are from there and her parents used to live in Columbia, IL. We used to come back to Wyoming with bags full of salami, wines and other goodies from markets like J. Viviano & Sons up on The Hill. And that fried ravioli, man that is good.[p]It's a fun place, but my blood it too thick for that heat. Heheee.[p]~thirdeye~

And then finish up with some of that good Gooey Butter Cake
