    ribs n whiskey,
I've done four 8 lbers on my large, they are going to shrink quite a bit as they cook. -RP

  • ribs n whiskey,[p]Here is a three-butt cook I did last summer. Three fit nicely on the large. Each of these were over 8 pounds.[p]BGE017.jpg[p]I only use the v-rack when cooking one butt and only then because I find it makes it easier to pick up the finished butt and roll it over into a pan. But I always seem to manage just fine without the v-rack so I guess it is just a matter of what you want to do at that time. Obviously, there is no v-rack being used during the cook pictured here.

    ribs n whiskey,
I am doing two on friday and they run 9.6lbs and 10.2lbs. They will fit with no problem on a large and I seen four on top of a large.
