Ping*fishlessman re danish pork roast

Well putting the roast under very hot firebricks worked just fine as
you see, crisp delicious skin, perfect danish style pork roast.
Thanks for the good advice.
(for anyone interested heres the background story:)
---Several times I could'nt get crisp skin when cooking a pork roast on ceramics.
In denmark we slice the skin on the roast and it turns the skin crisp
--almost like chips-- kind of an extra bonus like fixins to the roast.
Fishless suggested I take the roast off before done, bring on max heat,
put the roast on the bottom grate and the extremely hot firebricks
above facing the skin, then shutting the fire almost down,
... well wonderfully perfect result
(note "someone" could'nt keep his fingers away even before the pic
was taken in the bottom left corner)[p]best regards
thorsten
