Green Chili Cheeseburgers

This was one of those "shotgun recipes" where I didn't really have a plan but it came out pretty durn good. If I recall correctly:[p]1 pound ground beef
1 egg
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Worcestershire sauce
salt, pepper
some ground parmesan[p]Smashed all those up in a bowl and made two large burgers:[p][p]Topping was a can of green chilis, some diced garlic, diced onion, and shredded cheese. Here's how they looked after several minutes on the BGE:[p][p]Good stuff![p]JackGT

Those look great! What temperature did you cook them at and for how long?

Those look good. It's chile season in NM and i like making chile cheeseburgers with fresh roasted green chile. The other suggustion is to make some chile cheese fries. Basicly, french fries topped with cheese and chile.[p]Andres

John,[p]Unfortunately I don't remember exactly, but I believe it was around 450-500 for about 4-5 mins per side. I quit looking at the clock after I bought an instant-read thermometer.[p]JackGT
