    Just kidding. Kinda.

Welcome and looking forward to seeing some cooks.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome. This is a wonderful community. Things to stay away from: warranty questions, charcoal questions, and politics. Other then that ask anything on your mind.

Welcome - I've been down the same road, bought MBGE about 5 or 6 years ago while being a gasser and kettle guy for the past 40 years. Still have two 22" kettles, one from '78, the other from '86. Small Smokey Joe Gold from local Home Depot clearance bin for $20. Most grilling is still done on the Webers, the medium egg and large Primo do the slow smoke cooks and pizzas.
Oh, and all the things @Legume suggests not to ask about are the posts I come here to read!
Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!
