I was volunteered to cook pizzas for a group of folks so.... I've recently got back into trying them. Made the dough and added some kind of raw wheat ground up. I usually use heavy evo, fresh sliced tomatoes and toppings... Little basil and oregano.
A friend shared his Italian gravy recipe so I had that on hand. By far everyone's favorite was a breakfast pizza. Bacon, sausage, mushroom, cheese and the gravy and eggs on top. Amazingly tasty.
Due to the chef being inebriated condition the pics aren't very good.
I have found pouring water on the stone before each pizza really helps not burn the crust.

You use a store bought sauce? Looks great!

Does said friend have issue with you sharing his Italian Gravy recipe with us?

Pouring water? Do you literally pour some on the stone or wipe it with a damp cloth. I often have burnt pizza and therefore asking. thanks

can't imagine the PS would take cold water when it is at 600+.  I use the reynolds foiled parchment (one side foil other is parchment) and do foil side down.  cook until everything is bubbly, then pull the parchment to do a final crisp on the bottom.  Haven't burned one in a very long time. Talk about a perfect pie!!!

I once placed one of these 8" pizza stones (room temp) into a 900° egg. Laid it directly on a BGE pizza stone that was already at 900°. Bottom of a pie was done and the top wasn't. Needed to get it off the stone before it burned so I picked up the pie, placed the small stone on the hot one and then put the pie back in on top. Worked like a charm and both stones are still in service.

stike cools his egg at a tailgate by pouring in ice water from a cooler. I've also heard of folks taking a hot platesetter out of the egg and tossing it in a snow bank.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
