400* raised direct. Brats were Yuengling beer brats, so I helped out Pottsville, PA tonight all around.

Just add mustard and jalapeños for a great meal. Nice cook.

There's just something about a good brat. That looks delicious.Stillwater, MN

Put the brats and onions in a beer bath in a crockpot for 2-3hrs, then fire up the egg to finish them off. DANG GOOD!!!!!

I have to tell you all that this is the definitive mustard to put on a brat.

Yum! Brats look great, but the onions, oh yeah!
-
I was surprised how sweet the onions got grilling them like this. Some EVOO, kosher salt, and cracked black. Really tasty. I've never skewered them like that before. Need to do it that way again.I like my butt rubbed and my pork pulled.

Those would be great with burgers too. Nice!

They look great. How were the brats? I have seen those at Sam's and want to give them a try sometime.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I got them from Sam's. They are a Smithfield product. I like them better than Johnsonville. They come in a (2) seven packs, so I food saver bagged 10 of them for another day.I like my butt rubbed and my pork pulled.

Love brats on the egg with Yuengling. I will essentially braise the brats in the yuengling beer with peppers and onions @400 until brat is done then pull them out and char them a bit over direct.Roanoke, VA
