A friend has said that he is going to build a storage bin or something like a cabinet for his platesetter and the rest of his tools. I any of you could post some ideas and maybe pictures it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Charlie

This is what I do. -RP

AZRP,
That looks, uh, nice but I think that he wants something a little different.
-
ccrider,[p]LOL!!! that is so funny. I think all us eggers use the old gasser as storage until we build something.

NorthWoodsEgger,
not I...after twice cleaning out a massive birthing and nursing facility capable of serving 12 mother mice at a time I said enough was enough and booted my old Ducanne's butt to the curb!

This is What I came up with. Works pretty good, if you don't mind some black smudges here and there. It's plastic, from home depot. The weedburner hangs to the left. Best starter there is.
HOlds all the pans, racks, platesetter just barely fits, but it all works for me.

FlaMike,
That's exactly what I have, and the Lawn Ranger foot-locker. Works great!

FlaMike,
Mike, you are the only one in this forum that aggrees with me that the weed burner is the best way to start the fire. [p]Jerry

Jwirliwnd,
Yeah, it sure looks that way. I have mine about a year, and still have half a tank of propane. I wouldn't trade for anything.
-
Jwirliwnd, tell me about this weed burner.

FlaMike, I swear by the weed burner. I'll have to put together a little cart like you have, thanks for the idea.

Spring Chicken,[p]
they are a lot cheaper here..[p]http://da.harborfreight.com/cpisearch/web/search.do?keyword=torch&Submit=Go

Here's what I built, however, I should have thought of some additional storage space in the planning process. I like the "Deck Box" idea, maybe I will get one of those. I have everything in the garage now and it's not very close at hand.

Ok, I am an idiot! Read the Naked Whiz method and here goes for the last time, I promise.

KBuck, Sorry I'm late with the response, went to bed early last night. that cart is a cheap planter stand that you can get almost anywhere. wheels are plastic, but not much of a load. it stays outside and gets rained on. So far no deterioration after 1 yr. Mike

okesmokie, Spring Chicken called it right. Go to harborfreight.com. They have them, and occassionally on sale. I have the one with the sparking start button (same as on most gasser grills). Sure beats having to ignite with a flame. Good luck, they're worth the search.

okesmokie,
OOPS! not spring chicken, it was icemncmth. Sorry

okesmokie,
Try this site for a good picture of the weedburner. You can find them at most hardware stores. [p]http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=91037[p]Jerry

What a great idea - if I may, how much did you pay for it? I'd have to fill it up or else my daughters would play hide and seek in it.
