Howdy Eggers. Long time creeper, first time poster. I have been Egging for about a year. I am looking at some suggestions for an upcoming cook I have.
I teach at a school and I have been asked to bbq some pork shoulders for a picnic in early June. I have a Large BGE with the Ceramic Grill Store's Adjustable Rig R&B combo and a rig extender. Is 7 shoulders on this a possibility, or is this going to be a back to back cook? I have never done this much before, so any and all advice will be much appreciated.

I got 5 once, and it was a bit of a challenge. 7 would be pretty impressive. Might be time to buy another egg.Large BGE & mini stepchild & a KJ Jr.The damp PNW

I have to admit. I would love to see a picture of seven. I think we need more info. 7 boneless is possible--maybe--7 bone in--??? Me, I would cook them hot back to back. Start early morning and be done before bed. Shred the first load while second is cooking. Shred 2nd load. Night nightColumbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.

7 12 pounders, probably not. Do yourself a favor. Precook all you need and food saver 2# portions with a splash of Coca Cola. You can reheat in simmering water without timing concerns or last minute worries. A turkey fryer is perfect for the simmering. Very easy. Comes out like it just came off the egg. My 2 cents. Welcome aboard! Truly admire teachers brother!Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

Five is the most I've done. That's about all I could fit.
