Rubbed up a choice ribeye with DP Cowlick and cooked it on the MM at 500 F. Added some roast fingerling potatoes and a salad. Washed it all down with some Woodford DO. Great dinner.

I agree on the Woodford DO Brent, it is my second favorite bourbon behind the PVW23 I have in the safe.

Yep that looks damn good. I unfortunately don't get into the Pappy bourbon, as a little above my paygrade but Woodford makes some great stuff. Nicely Done!!

When did you get the PVW23? You should let me test it to confirm its authenticity!

Brent, I got the PVW 23 in December of 2014, have only had about 5 drinks out of the bottle so far. It is amazing stuff. I got shut out in 2015 as did most everyone due to the extremely limited release.

Chris, if you are a bourbon fan I think you will be very happy with the Woodford DO. It is very good. They do make a double double Oaked, but I've yet to see it on any shelves near me.

Edit: Turns out you can only buy the double double at the distillery itself. I may have to start thinking about a Bourbon Trail vacation.
