I'm "curing" the little guy today and i've been able to go up to 300, down to 250, on a whim and hold it.  Been holding 250 for almost 1.5 hours now. I am really impressed and the coal use after close to 4 hours is pretty amazing as well. Really, really happy.

The DudeThis is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.

Walter SobchakNihilists! *uck me. I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

It's on order along with a smokeware cap and a rig from ceramic grill store.

I have the small and the airflow is not good.  The minis a rocket by comparison.  I've heard the mm is also a rocket.
    Are u using a high q grate?
Yes sir I am.  The small breathes like it has emphysema.  IMO, pay the $30 more go with the mm.
I agree.  I sold my small after a year.  It took way too long to get to temp.

@danv23 ... Just to be sure ... you did order the MiniMax Cap Adapter ... yes?

Why don't you cure the little guy with some wings?  All those eggfest eggs are cooked on from minute one.  Especially with the new gaskets ...

I threw a chicken breast on there for an hour at 250. Dam was it good, and yes, I ordered the adapter.  Thank you for checking up on it.

All, I would have gotten the minimax but i was't going to transport it and I didn't have a table for it.  The small fits perfectly where I wanted it to in its nest.
