Not much love on the Jiffy Corn Muffin Mini Cones, they are great but a little bit heavy and dense.
So back to the bag of tricks!

Some of you may remember our Margarita Cookies with the Tequila Lime Glaze, so
Now we have Margarita Mini Cone Cakes dipped in our Tequila Lime Glaze with Margarita Salt sprinkles on top.
Yes I like Tequila.

Fresh out

Dipped and Sprinkled

And one for me

Thanks for looking....

I have another rack on order. Larger holes. It is made special for these cones. It holds 27. So a12 pack is easy! @Lit
And should work better for the larger jalapeños we seem to get here.

Last time I hooked up with Tequila, I woke up with a Mohawk.
She was a definite 2 at 10, and a ten at two, I am thinking. Thought she would never leave.

I will get the recipe all to get and post it later. It is really simple. We did a bit of adding and subtracting on the Fly as it usually happens when prepping for an EggFest.

And Thanks guys. These should go well at the Athens EggFest this weekend.

@tonyled The holder I copied bought from Steven Raichlen. It does OK on these. But the one I have on order is made to do the Mini Cone Cup Cakes. Should set a deeper and cook 27 at one time.

    @Dredger Thanks

Not trying to sound like a booze snob, but through my own experience, I would suggest buying tequila that is made with 100% blue agave, and not one that is "made with blue agave".  IMO, it will taste much better, and give you less of a hangover the next day.  Cool idea!

Costco Anejo Tequila. It's $20 for a liter, but it is good stuff. You can thank me later.

I will post it sometime after the N Texas Mega Bash this weekend.
It is really simple to do.
The pan / holders are the key. I used some popper stands, but each has different size holes and spread. Need to get the cones and verify they will stay in. Wait you're an Aggie?
