The weather has turned to the cool side again with a high in the mid 20's yesterday so it seemed right to be catching up on a few things inside! Spent most of the day spinning wheels, but a few things accomplished.

However, there are always outdoor chores too...and sun was out making for a pretty nice day. Of course that got me thinking, I haven't fired an Egg for a few days!! It must be time for Meatloaf and stuffed mushrooms!!

The meatloaf is my standard, a 50/50 of ground chuck and venison, onion, garlic, London Pub Steak Sauce, S&P, eggs and wetted oatmeal.

The mushrooms were totally new, having never tried this one. Olive Stuffed Bellas! I chopped scallions, parsley, kalamata and green pimento stuffed olives. Mixed this with GOOD olive oil and a touch of BGE Garlic & Pepper Seasoning, stuffing the mushroom and topping with smoked white cheddar.

Meat loaf went on at 350 F. for about 45 minutes, before the mushrooms went on. All told, about an hour and 15...

Still using the load of lump from the Ham bake, so still a little Pecan and Hickory in the mix. Got a nice smoke ring to boot!

Sorry, no plate pic...It EAT time! Served with garlic, parsley mashed potatoes and a garden salad. GOOD STUFF! Will differently do these mushrooms again!
