This is my second experience with SRF and it was incredible! Beef was very tender with great marbling. Cooked reverse sear and finished off with a sear in the cast iron. When the pan cooled down a bit I tossed in some butter, garlic and time and gave it a bath. One of the best steaks I've had in a while.

Thanks folks! @eggdan I pulled it at about 115. Then seared in the cast iron. It wasn't quite where I wanted it, so i stuck it back in the egg that had cooled down a bit until it was about 132 in the center.

The best part, is that you made that whole thing for your self! I make cowboys all the time, but looking at yours makes me feel like I missing something in my life lol.

Great cook-way to get the max out of the SRF steak. Most eggcellent cook. Talk about a home-run!Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
