OT--pellet stove backup power

So with my generator acting up and the impending Blizzard I decided to grab this while I was at Sams today. Not sure how long it would power the pellet stove but I figured it would be best to grab it and return it if I don't need it. So my question is if you have a pellet stove what so you use as a back up power source.
Thanks

I guess if the power outage lasted 5 minutes you would be in good shape. Buying that is like people buying a huge flat screen tv for the Superbowl and returning it the day after.

The link didn't work for me but I would estimate it would run it for hours...you can do the calculations based on this consumption information for the Traeger:
Standard household current (110 VAC) is needed to power the igniter rod, auger motor and induc- tion fan. The Traeger Grill operates on 300 watts during the first four minutes (when the igniter rod is active), then drops down to just 50 watts per hour, less than a standard light bulb.

Look at APC website. Even at just 50 watts it would not last 2 hours.

based on my calculations, it should run a 50 watt load for about 3.7 hours. My laptop draws about that with a less powerful battery. Seems to make sense. Again, the link didn't work. I'm going off what's typical for 800 watts 1350 VA. The power factor is low, but so is the draw. Anyway, more than 5 minutes.

Thanks for the replies. Don't think I made it as clear as I thought this would be used for an indoor pellet stove to heat my house not a pellet grill. Was just a quick fix but looking at it now I'm not sure it would work.

my coal stove can run with a deep cycle boat battery and inverter but i think the new pellet stoves just need the deep cycle with no inverter. i would get out the manual

A better choice might be a power inverter for you car/truck. 12 volt to 120 volts. I have a 300 watt Triplite.
I have used it to power my tv and DirectTv for several days during a power outage.
I burned only a half tank of gas.
It would serve your needs for a prolonged amount of time. -
I guess you can try but the 810 watts that unit puts out wouldn't be enough to run my pellet/corn stove. I have a 2500 watt generator just in case for mine.

Harbor Freight sells a 1000 watt generator for $99. You won't freeze to death.

Thanks everyone for the ideas. Looks like an inverter is in my future.

I just bought this wally's el cheapo 2000W inverter generator for 'emergency', paid battered canuck CAD $298. Like a kid with new umbrella, I'm secretly wishing for a mini outage to justify this toy to swmbo

Not for major heating, but hopefully should have enough juice for tankless water heater, a small space heater, freezer or internet/TV (not all together though).
