Got a spider and 16" Carbon Steel Wok from CGS this week and did a little stir fry. Couldn't be easier just a matter of timing what to put in when but it all turned out great!

Very nice. Your dishes will taste even better as you wok becomes more seasoned.

I am currently placing an order at CGS. Going with the PSWoo2 Stock grid combo, 16" carbon steel Wok and 3 legged spider for my LARGE BGE. Should I get the 5 leg spider instead? Why 3 AND 5 legs?
Thanks for any input.

I have the 3 and use a 14 inch carbon steel hand hammered wooden handle pow wok from the wok shop and never had an issue with the 3 legs. My wok is kinda heavy without any food, so I get a good workout when I toss.

Nice looking meal. Wokking can become a habit. Here is a movie and some wok ramblings to eggjoy!

In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’ Dare to think for yourself. -
Thank you! Sorry for the de-rail
