We felt like chicken tonight like chicken tonight (and a peach dessert)

the chicken was seasoned with season salt, chipotle powder, and Bacon dip mix. Cooked at 225 for 1hr with a little apple wood to impart some flavor, then raised the temp to 350 to finish it off. When it was close to done glazed with a little brown sugar and chipotle powder. Served with couscous and pattypan squash.

Peaches were cooked at 375 flesh side down first then flipped and drizzled with honey brown sugar and peach balsamic. Served with cinnamon whipped cream and vanilla bean ice creamXL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

Very good point!! I don't use much if any sugars in my rubs but yes it would have burnt and given an off taste.
