have been trying to find the right product to make my egg even more versatile. I have thought about getting the Big Joe Divide and Conquer system or the woo2 and some half stones, cast iron and a wok.
Any feedback would be helpful.

Will the big joe system fit inside of your egg? Besides that a lot of people like the woo2 and I wish I had a wok. I do like the half moon griddle that I have. I dont really use it now that I have the blackstone though.

The adjustible rig is awesome and you can set up several different configurations. The oval stone is awesome for brisket and ribs...no more unprotected meat hanging past the stone.

I use the Woo2 seated on top of an extra grid which rests on the fire ring. With that, we can cook indirect and then lift out the woo to use the lower grid for searing. Or . . . we can remove the plate setter and cook raised direct.

@Grillin_beers the big joe system fits in the xl.
@cazzy I looked at the AR, but wasn't sure that's what I wanted to go with. I thought the woo2 would be my best bet from CGS. I did talk to Tom ( I think that was his name) and he made several suggestion, just adding to the what should I get question.

@biggreenrob just looking to do more. I'd like to wok with it and just do the half stones to have a partial indirect setup. Currently I just have the platesetter and have added a few fire bricks to get my pizza stone up in the egg.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

For instance, add a spider and stone underneath this, and you can now do 3 levels of cooking.

@Sardonicus do you find it has made your egg easier to setup for different cooks. @cazzy suggest the AR, and looking at it it seems nice, but a little expensive.

A second egg would make it more versatile.

@cazzy is this what you had in your eggs? I'm trying to find the right combo without going over the top. The boss keeps yelling about my spending.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

Given you have a platesetter check out this setup from cgs:
http://shop.ceramicgrillstore.com/pswoo2-stock-grid-combo/ Quite flexible and as all things from cgs-very well built. FWIW-
Edit: Disregard this post-initially missed that you are talking XL.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

It seems like there is less available for the xl bge, I may have to get the AR, as PSWOO2 is not made for xl. Contacted KJ and the Big Joe System is almost 300. That seems a little high to meXL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

@Cazzy is absolutely right in that the AR offers more options. The Woo2 (with grill extender) works for us - two levels is all we empty-nesters need. Your needs won't necessarily match ours, of course.Regarding cost: If we didn't already have the plate setter, it is entirely possible that I would've ordered the AR.
As you, I've considered using half-stones and such but I'm not sure how effective that would be considering how a kamado is designed to work.

@Photo Egg Egg thanks for the info. I may go this Direction as it seems to accomplish what I want it to. sometines it feels like there are to many options available.
@Big_Green_Craig was nice enough to message me and explain the divide and conquer system. it's a little more than I want to spend at this time I think. Hope I don't regret not going this route.
Going to to take a day or two and way all the options and opinions of all of you that have responded. Then just pull the trigger
