Happy Independence Day to all,
I have a 6 year old large egg in a nest. The bottom horizontal braces are rusting severely, has anybody had a nest fail? Just wondering if I should buy a new one to prevent disaster?
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

IMHO, the nest is a wasting asset (it will depreciate to no value) while the is not. I would replace it unless you are handy. Since you are asking the question, I assume you're not handy. Replace it for more worry-free years of egging.Flint, Michigan

A different approach-Get a paint scraper and clean off the rust then use Rustoleum to re-preserve the affected area.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
