Accessory Identification Help - Wok Ring?

Options
This came with my "new" to me small egg - it looks a lot like the wok rings that the OG sandbagger used to make (see here) - but wanted to confirm and see if there was anything else I'm missing. Just seems strange to have a wok ring for a small egg when most pans can fit on the fire ring (yes, with limited airflow)

Background - the hot wife bought me a used small Egg from Craigslist recently and I've got no background on the accessories or egg itself. (she spent $200 - so not a huge expense in any case)

Looks very similar to today's "spider" the Ceramic Grill Store sells

Some use their spiders to support a small grid - for searing steaks, etc.

Thanks T - that explains the legs that this came with as well.
