So I've been reading along for a few months now, and been grilling just around a month. Can't tell you how many great things I've read and how truly helpful this forum is. Never even heard of the Big Green Egg until this April. After some breif research, I was hooked. Started with some burgers, moved into tons of boneless skinless chicken thighs, 20 ears of corn in the cob, two pizzas, a few cedar plank salmons, and one large swordfish. Last weekend I decided I was ready for my first slow and low. Got my iGrill, PS legs up, no liquid, my own homemade dry rub. 13 hour cook. I thought it was the best pork I've ever had. I'm doing another one this weekend--a full boston butt. Also got some pork fat for bacon in the coming weeks.
This is the life for me!
Cheers!
