HeavyG said:Like @Toxarch said - they do make AC powered fans.
Some like this plug directly into an outlet sans wall wart: http://www.amazon.com/AC-Infinity-LS8038A-X-Standard-Cooling/dp/B009OXTWZI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1433098075&sr=8-3&keywords=AC+computer+fan
I'm used to doing a wall wart and like 4 fans on low power to keep it quiet.

I used two inlets mostly to try to do some organizing inside the box - power on one side and probes on the other. I was trying to keep the probe inlet small. I'm considering adding a flap that flips out on top of the fan as some additional cover, but I keep telling myself that I'm probably just going to go out for dinner if it's raining that hard! -
I still need to do the cover for the blower, but I've still not figured out a way to make it more complex than it has to be.

I couldn't find a fit that I liked. I decided I'd spend some time thinking about something like a hinge that could lie flat against the lid when stored, and then flop out to cover the fan when in use.
