O.T. - Fresh Head-On Shrimp Prices

In metro Atlanta (DeKalb County), fresh, head-less brown shrimp are selling for $11.49/lb. These shrimp look like they are in the 16-20/lb size range.

I'm curious as to what are fresh, head-less or head-on brown (or white) shrimp selling for in your areas of town?

I bought head on 16-20 last weekend for 4.20 a pound in ocean springs,ms.

That's a good price.

For some reason, it has been a challenge to find fresh head-on shrimp up here.

I may have to take a road trip to MS for a hundred pounds or so at that price.

Key word is fresh. I live on Columbia SC but am from the Lowcountry of SC. Fresh of the boat in season is $10 a pound
