wood chunks needed for smoking - atlanta/marietta

Guys - BBQ's galore was always my go-to place when I needed wood chunks (not chips) of wood - i.e, apple, cherry, etc. for smoking - I'd buy the bags from them of the fist size chunks, and that lasted me awhile.
I am now out - and need some for this weekend. Those of you in the Atlanta area know BBQ's Galore no longer exists... any ideas?
I live in Marietta, work in Buckhead, have family in Norcross area - lots of areas covered if any of you can point me in the right direction so I can replenish my supply.
Thanks!

Maybe an orchard in the area may have some wood for ya. I would cut you a hunk if you were closer. My buddys know I use the fruit wood and they let me know of any trees that are coming down.

All the way to Monroe but if you want maple, there is a pile in my driveway. Fidel & Vidalia1 have already been there.

Hey ChuckGGa
I know you need something now near you in GA - I just went thru the same thing in Annapolis, MD Several people said online ordering was an option - I finally broke down and did it - it took 5 days to get here - but it's worth every penny - here is the site - hope it helps

I will be @ Auburn this weekend. Do you need me to bring you a few pieces of maple?
Tom -
I am golden now, thanks to a couple of previous responders. Thanks -
What is yor team name - for Auburn this weekend? I'll swing by and introduce myself.
We are leaving the eggs at the house and just trying our luck with a new Lang smoker this weekend - since just chicken and ribs on the backyard side - we like to use both, but it's alot of work (especially in the weather it looks like we'll have) to load / unload the eggs and what have you with a limited crew this weekend since this was a last minute entry for us.8 Green Eggs...I have a problem, ha ha! 1-XL; 2-L, 2-Med; 2-Sm; 1-Mini.

Home Depot at Merchants Walk has chunks in every flavor. Was just looking at them yesterday. Publix at Roswell Rd and East Piedmont has a decent chunk selection as well.
-
Lowes and academy sports has them here in arkansas. Heck most grocery stores around here have them.

Georgia Patio in Kennesaw has a decent section but Roswell Hardware is the place to go if you're over there... It's at the end of Roswell rd.
-
just think of the progress we've made in this country in five years, now you can get wood chunks just about anywhere. I love 'murica.
-
Ok I know this is an old thread, but BJs usually carries a big bag of hickory chunks. I think they are Stubbs or Cowboy brand.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Most of the ace hardware stores and Publix stores carry bags of weber chunks and western chunks. That is what I usually buy, apple, hickory and oak available at most stores.
