BGE Stainless Steel Mini-Burger Basket Question….(Help!)

After @ 2 uses my mini-burger basket has lost the ability to stay closed during the cook. The little latch on the basket has loosened up (maybe due to heat from grill) so when I insert the handle and flip the basket to cook the other side of the meat, the basket swings open and the burgers go all over the place.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance….

chunk the basket and get a second grid. when ready to flip add second grid and flip over, remove first grid........ easy on clean up too.

just set it by hand on top of the food, press grids together with fingers to hold food in place and flip over, lift off original grid.

I had the mini burger thing and ended up throwing it away, too much problems with it, I also use the 2 grid method now and that works great !
