Nicely Done!LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL -
Thanks @NPHuskerFL! Forgot to mention, I used a jaccard on the dough to knock out the air before topping it. This particular dough recipe gets fluffy if used same day so that was my remedy. What ended up happening (I think) was some of the oil base dripped through the holes ever so slightly. What I ended up with was a nice crispy crust that almost had a sheen to it. I meant to post a pic of that but after I made a quart sized puddle of drool I had to dig in.Columbia, SC --- LBGE 2011 -- MINI BGE 2013

Interesting... might not have seen the same end product if you had only docked the dough? Is the dough recipe yours?LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

I used the dough from the recipe. Ina gartens. I usually just hit it with the fork but it takes too much time when I have a 2 year old at my feet. Tonight I grabbed the jaccard to hit more surface area at same time. Not sure but it was goodNPHuskerFL said:Interesting... might not have seen the same end product if you had only docked the dough? That's the one sir. That dough is good. I like to let it sit in the fridge a couple of days usually. This is a great pie though.SmokeyPitt said:Is this the one Chubbs?

Does papa murphys use a similar sauce on that chicken bacon artichoke? That's my favorite from their and its some kind if white sauce.Seattle, WA

Never had papa Murphy's. This is not a white sauce. This is garlic infused oil with thyme and red pepper flakes. I love a good white sauce too. I have another recipe for that. I can dig it out tomorrow if interested.SkinnyV said:Does papa murphys use a similar sauce on that chicken bacon artichoke? That's my favorite from their and its some kind if white sauce.

You had me at "garlic infused oil with thyme and red pepper flakes". Is it your own brew?
Also thanks for the jaccard idea.
