Anyone order a stoker recently? I am trying to be patient but I want it bad!!

    @Tak I am told not possible to upgrade to the II.  But all you need to buy is the box. Everything else still works with it. That is what I did.

    Oh, and BTW, they now have this disclaimer when you put stuff in the cart and check the shipping estimator (don't ask me how I know this...)

    Stoker kits are back orderd until approximately 01/31/15. 
    Stoker kits are currently discounted by 10% until we restock 
    All accessory orders should ship in 1-2 days

    Shipping times are estimates once package leaves our facility.

    They will perform firmware updates for sure. The replaced some internal components for me when mine got wet. I'd call them and ask.

    Ok I have an update. I called on Friday and spoke to them again. They promised me it would go out the same day. I also asked if I could get their current discount. They basically said they were offering it because people were having to wait until the end of the month to get their stokers and if I wanted to wait they would give me the deal (never mind I waited just as long for full price). Anyway I was glad they were going to ship it out that day. The good news is I got shipment notification today and it did leave their warehouse on Friday.

    I posted in another thread but the hold up was they got a ton of orders over the holidays and they their wifi module provider is back ordered.

    Do either (or both) the stoker or cyberq allow you to make cooking temp changes remotely? Or do they just monitor remotely?

    Just asking if you were doing a low and slow at 250 and you are at work and see yoir final twmp coming faster than expected, if you can cool it down to 225 so it lasts until you get home?

    If so, is that controlled by a website or app?

    I am not a huge computer person, I downloaded the stoker user guide and the section 7 on wifi made my head hurt.

    Oh.... and I saw thw 10% off note on the stoker page and saw the prices discounted up top, but when I click on BGE XL package I dont see any discounts applied. Am I missing something?

    You can make adjustments remotely with the Stoker.

    Look how long it took BGE to produce the MM which was projected and said would be released in June of 2014. FWIW I love my Stoker and received it within 5 days from ordering it online. Anytime (and I do mean anytime) I've had a ? And call them they have been extremely helpful and patient. As consumers we expect honestly (I agree), great customer service and product excellence. I believe you get that with them. Call em up Monday and I'm sure they'll make it right by you.

    @stompbox‌ it's not difficult to set-up. I use The Pit BBQ Pal App Pro Edition (Android). Apple also has an App.
