Love smoked, shredded chicken. Tired of chicken salad. Looking for some kind of yogurt based, tzatziki type sauce for a wrap.

Maybe not what you are looking for, but I like to take a flank steak and marinate it in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, and mint.

Season with salt and pepper before searing.

Top with store bought tzatziki and voila!

Flatiron steak on the grill to rare/med-rare, grilled peppers and onions in a wrap with a horseradish sauce.

50% mayo/greek yogurt

horseradish

onion powder

garlic powder

S&P to taste.

Tzatziki Sauce--Given to me by the Greek owner of a restaurant. My favorite. I use dill for Greek Gyros and mint for Meditterean style foods.Sauce, Tzatziki, Gyro, Greek

INGREDIENTS:

Tzatziki Sauce

1 quart plain yogurt, Greek yogurt if available is better.

1 cup sour cream

1-3 cucumbers - peeled and grated

2 Tbs olive oil

1/2 lemon, juiced

salt and pepper to taste

1 Tbs chopped fresh dill

6 cloves garlic finely minced

1-2 Tbs Fresh mint leaves chopped are an option

PROCEDURE:

1. Take the cucumber, peel, cut in half long way and remove the seeds. Grate into a small container and add a tablespoon of salt or so, let sit for an hour rinse, drain then place in a towel and squeeze the liquid out.

2.ou might even use some paper towels to soak up the water. Then mix well and let sit for a day for all the flavors to infuse.
