Chicke chicken winner dinner. Just a heads up but you'll want to get an air gap under that egg. Lowes sell these feet that you can put under it (someone will have a link) or you can get a table nest to put under it. Good luck and keep us in the loopLBGE& SBGE———————————————•———————– Pennsylvania / poconos

It's on a paver like big green egg says you can do.. U still think it needs air gap?
-
Should be fine for something relatively short <1.5 hours and <350 degrees, but for longer or hotter I would for sure want the air gape in addition to the paver. Also might want to check the airgap between the Egg and the circular cutout in the table. Not sure, but I think you want an inch gap all the way around, cause the Egg can radiate impressive amounts of heat and set wood too close on fire.
Perhaps Centex or nola can weigh in. I seem to remember somebody setting their table on fire a while back from not having enough of a gap there.
/not trying to poo-poo your table, it looks great! Just helping make sure you don't get any unpleaseant surprises.

My neighbors table caught on fire with a paver under his XL. It was smoldering and he caught it before he lost the egg or worse. Get some feet or better yet the table nest they sell for this purpose. As an added benefit it will be much easier to clean the ash out with a gap between the table and the egg bottom.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Bravo.

BGE table nest, a wise $30 investment and cleaner look than cement blocks. IMO
