The flat was almost 9# and the small packer was 10.5# These all the smallest I've done. My initial intention was to only do one and on the MM. Decided to do both and of course the LBGE fit that job description.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

@Dobie I think it looks great. Nice smoke ring too. That has always been a real challenge for me. Any tricks for getting that? Maybe its the rub.Dave - Austin, TX
-
@Terrebandit its not the rub, just salt and pepper on this. Get the same ring on pork butts and ribs with other rubs. If anything its the combination of humidity and smoke wood. Thanks for the compliments fellas, definitely will work on this. Maybe try the Travis method next time.Jacksonville FL

Home-run right there. Great result!Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Looks awesome and much better than my first brisket. @NPHuskerFL what controller are you using where you're getting that fancy display from? I always seem to talk myself out of a controller, but your screenshots make me jealous every time, especially today as I'm at work and I have two butts on and have to wait every 10 minutes for my little app I wrote to text me a picture of my Webcam that's pointing to my MaverickDunedin, FL

@Dobie Nice looking brisket. What was the final cook time? I'm going to throw on my first brisket tonight!LBGE, Marietta, GA

@yzzi fancy display? Do you mean the APP? I'm using a black box Wi-Fi Stoker (newest model) and use the The Pit BBQ Pal android APP. The Stoker was worth every penny.

@yzzi You can hit refresh and it gives you live data. It works very well. It also logs each cook, lump type, wood type, temps of pit and food etc. Solid APP that works with Stoker or CyberQLBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL
