small plate setter in mini Max?

just like the title says I am looking for a plate setter and have several places telling me its the same as the small just wanted to see if anybody out there can verify for me. Thanks.

If you have a MM and use the small platesetter, the grid will definitely be at or above the felt. Others have suggested a Woo (which I don't own, so maybe others will add their feedback).
