Can't get behind the kraut? I have 60 pounds of shredded cabbage, salt, and water rotting in a crock in the basement. Should be done in 6 more weeks.Cleveland, Ohio

@Tackman I eat a lot of stuff people turn their nose up to, but I can't get into rotten cabbage. My kids and wife like it, it's just one of those few foods I don't like along side cucumbers and celery.brats though, yessir

It's Lodge cast iron, got a 3 pack of small ones, oval, round, and rectangle from Amazon a while back. Pretty handy.

@Tackman - what's your recipe for the kraut? I'm interested in getting into making it at home. I looked up the Bubbie's and it's way too expensive to ship here...
