Gluten free pizza dough

Options
I'm looking for a good gluten free pizza dough. I recently have found that I have a wheat allergy and basically have to follow a gluten free diet. Gluten free bread and baked goods are hit or miss in taste/texture. Hoping someone here knows of a really good pizza dough as we love to make pizzas on our BGE. Thanks!

I'd check out artisanbreadinfive.com They have tons of recipes and might have some suggestions on dough My wife gave up gluten as just more of a healthy choice kind of thing but we definitely don't do without good food around here. We cook all the same pasta dishes with spaghetti squash or gluten free pasta/gnocchi

the Bobs red mill one is very good all things considered.  I did a gluten free pizza and a GF dessert pizza this summer and you have to make a few minor mods, but they get the job done.

From what I have read, GF crust is very loose and this was my experience.  Parchment is a must on both top and bottom to shape.  if you have to cut out gluten, this will probably make a good and quick substitute until you find a good recipe of your own.  http://tinyurl.com/k2b5gs8

Dessert Pizza was a GF chocolate chip cookie dough from Bobs as well-

@EggHead_Bubba‌ I have been GF for almost four years. In my opinion the best GF pizza dough is made using GlutenFree Mamma flour and their recipe. If I have a chance before I go OOT I'll try to take a picture of the recipe my wife uses to make dough. Also not sure if there is a restaurant depot near you but some carry premade GF rich brand pizza crusts. That are not that bad if you want to make a quick pizza. As stated above there is always bobs redmill it is okay but not my first choice. Also RD sells BRM flour and pizza crust mix in 25 pound bags. If you have any questions just send me a pm. If I can maintain a gluten free regiement anyone can. imageimage

Thanks for the replies! I'm not against making my own pizza dough instead of using a mix or pre made one. I'm going to check out the Mama's Flour and recipe! Which GFM flour do you prefer to use with their recipe, coconut or almond?

Any other suggestions, just keep them coming. I'm always trying new gluten free products since I'll be stuck with this the rest of my life.

Just wanted to share that I tried a new gluten-free pizza crust tonight that I found at EarthFare. It was fantastic! My search just may be over.

I was told we have used both and there is no noticeable taste difference.

Also I would give the GFM a try. They do make dough mix that is ready to dump and add eggs and water. We buy a lot of GF items on Amazon. That is the Cheepest place to buy GFM our.

I'll still give it a try because if it's just as good as Gillian's, it would probably be much cheaper. Nevertheless, I'm really pleased to have found a tasty option.

@Firemanyz we bought GlutenfreeMama dough from your recommendation and tried it this weekend for the first time. Had a pizza party and everyone loved the pizza. No one that we had over would have known the difference if we didn't tell them. Thank you so much for the recommendation, the last GF crust we tried was terrible. This was awesome, and my wife has a gluten allergy and she is now relieved that she can have great pizza without missing anything. We purchased the flour on Amazon and went ahead and bough a box of 6. So I really trusted your recommendation and you didn't let me down! Thanks so much!
