Cool!
Picked up a bag of WGWW over the weekend to hold me over and its good too.
Dealer sold for $1 a pound also.
Need to get out to your dealer when Nate is there and pick some up.
Man you would think this was a drug deal

@Dobie It is isn't it? We are in Freakville after all.
They have a note attached to the bags (yours). It says "Chris / Dobie". >:)
Price is the same and he'll continue to do that for us. He's good peeps.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL -

@NPHuskerFL the WGWW was from the All American Grill Store on Beaver St , Shane is a good dude and wants to know what local eggheads want. I gave him some suggestions and told him to surf the forum for info. Thanks for the help with the RW, will pick it up this weekend.Jacksonville FL

Glad ya got your fix @Dobie )
And when it comes to eggheads I'll try to help anyway I can. Those guys are great at the OP Hagan Ace Hardware. Nate has been awesome in every facet in regards to egging supplies and warranty claims. I can't say enough positive things about them.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL -
@NPHuskerFL the jitters are gone now, thanks One observation on the WGWW was that the bag was slightly larger by weight at 22 lbs but the volume was not as much as RW or OO. The WGWW was more dense and heavier. It burned slow as a result so it likely equals out. I wondered if it just wasn't fully carbonized or something but no bad smoke or anything and its pretty neutral too. Might just be a different process or wood it uses IDK. Ony one bag so might not be typical.Jacksonville FL

@Dobie I was happy with WGWW for a very long time. It burned fairly neutral and had good sized chunks. Then they changed something when they went from the brown bags to the white bags. Or it may have just been from poor shipping (much smaller pieces and more dust than what I had been used to). The RW has been great and now with it being so readily available I'm hooked. Great product.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

The bag of WGWW I have now has large pieces. I used one already that was about as thick as a 4X4 and about 6-7 inches long and heavy. The RW I got from Firecraft was beat up and smaller pieces and lots of dust. Im hoping this 100 pound haul is larger pieces and less dust thinking the shipping was more to blame. IF not I will switch to WGWW for the same price and local.Jacksonville FL

how does this compare to big green egg lump? I have not used any other lump since I got my egg. Don't mind traveling to beaver st for some better charcoal.St. Johns County, Florida

@mac112 do it, you won't regret it. Neutral, fast lighting and big pieces.
-
ill be heading that way tomorrow do they have rockwood in stock?
-
@beteezYes. Always. At any of the Hagan Ace Hardware locations.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL
