I am interested to hear how Chris Lilly's injection/rub compares to low and slow without injection.
Has anyone done a side by side comparision?
Was the flavor profile better with the injection?

I haven't done a side by side comparison, but I have made that recipe and it was great. I might cut back on the salt next time though.LBGE, Marietta, GA

For the injection or the rub? Could you taste the salt? -
I think it was more in the injection. I have also been cutting down on salt in my rubs. Can't tell much difference.LBGE, Marietta, GA

I have used that combo many times and it was awesome every time. I really think the injection helps.Belleville, Michigan
