I did a little freezer diving last week and came across a frozen corned beef brisket. I went with Third Eye technique and went with pastrami. He likes ending the cook with a pressure cooker. Since I haven't used my pressure cooker in awhile I thought we might get acquainted once again...
Took some pictures along the way. Such a simple and good cook. My wife is not the biggest fan of reubens but she couldn't get enough. She said it might be her favorite cook that I've done on the egg. I guess I'll take it as a compliment? ) If you're a pastrami fan this is a must

Looks yummy and I am a big Ruben fan. I've done corn beef brisket to pastrami on my WSM, but not on the egg yet. I need to try it. Maybe I will start from scratch and see how it comes out.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

Looks like you nailed it! I've had third eyes pastrami write up bookmarked for quite some time now along with some corned beef in the deep freeze. One of these days hopefully I'll get to try it!
And that's one damn good looking Reuben!NW IOWA
