New Addition

So after having my large big green egg for about 4 months now, I decided it was time to add to my collection. I had originally planned on waiting for a minimal but came across a small BGE on craigslist. After a bit of negotiation I walked away with the SBGE and a nest for next to nothing. I want to build a stand for the new small but for now the nest will do. Does anyone know how I could get new wood green egg handles? The ones on my egg are weathered but the inside of the egg is mint. I was told by the lady that she used it less then 10 times in 6 years. My 4 month old is much dirtier then this one. imageimage<img src="http://cdn.

Better to be lucky than good any day!  Great score.  regarding handles-try contacting the mothership.  The handles are a part number so I would think they could provide.  Look the same size as the current SBGE so you should be fine that way-but you could check dimensions at a dealer. FWIW-

Congrats on the Small find. I love mine. My M is still my favorite cooker though. Maybe you will need one of those yet too.  :D

Odd looking nest. Does not look like what I have seen. New design or older design? I am sure you will love the addition.

@pgprescott - that's an older design. I used to have a M that had the same type of nest.

Sorry, what is customer handle?  I tried to google lawnranger but had no luck.  I also will need tp find a woo or plate setter of some form.   I have read reviews and people seem to recomend the woo with a pizza stone to make the indirect an option.  Do you agree?

Lawn Ranger is Mike Schweitzer and his email is gridlifter@yahho.com

Here are my two custom grid lifters - one made of "found wood" making each one unique and the other is his new style.
