Help! Moving To Grand Rapids, Michigan

Thinking about moving to Grand Rapids because my son lives there and we just found out we will be grandparents for the first time. Anybody that lives in that area have any advice on egging up in that area? Good source for beef, fish, etc.? Anything you can think of for helping me with that area. I'm a Texas boy, live in Tulsa area now so this area will definately be new for us. Thanks for all the advice my fellow eggers!
Thinking of selling my Large Egg and all its accessories and buying an X-Large. Been eyeing for some time now. If I could afford both I would but can't.

Good beer to be had up there, but if you are from a big city, expect to be let down by GR. It's small time, but pretty nice!

GR, MI is a great town. Lots of craft beer and close to quite a bit of outdoor activity.

Agree it's a great Beer City along with Kalamazoo which isn't far away. North of you about 3 hours is an outstanding vacation area for summer with incredible lakes and natural beauty. I don't think i would call GR a big City but you should still be able to find whatever you need there. Good luck.Clarendon Hills, IL

Good to know there is someone willing to move to Michigan. Their state government is only slightly worse than the sporting scene there. But at least you have winters to enjoy. Only half kidding. Grand Rapids is a big city so you should have no trouble.
