Took me about a month to get it finished. Not much spare time these days.
Oak plywood with pine 2x3 uprights screwed and glued. Distressed, stained, and Spar varnished. I used the gasket from my new LBGE base to pad the inside of the circle. The black piece in the bottom is a flower pot stand from Lowes with the legs cut off and turned upside down. I went this route so I can lower the egg for transport under the bed cover of my truck. Nice thing is that it's much lighter than fire bricks.
With all the time I have invested, I could have bought the Egg Carten. I just wanted something different and I enjoyed making it.
I'll post some pics of the egg in it when it's fully dried. I gave it a trial run over the 4th of July to make sure it worked like I wanted. Didn't want to share til it was done.

Thanks guys. I made it for my small. I think it weighs about 15 lbs so it ends up somewhere around 100 with the egg in it.Thanks to @Focker for the design concept.L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN!
