Condensation from humidity in egg a problem?

I'm new to egging, and want to make sure I keep my LBGE in tip-top condition. I've been storing the egg outside when not in use with the PS up, the grid right on top, and the daisy wheel on top of the grid. I have the cap on, and it fits tightly around the gasket material I added to the top. What I've noticed is that there is some light condensation (assuming from the outside humidity) on all components inside the egg when I open it up. It's even starting to form some rust on the daisy wheel. Is this something I should worry about? If so, any way to prevent it? I'll probably get a cover, but doubt that will solve anything if it's indeed from the humidity. Do you cover your eggs?

Leave the bottom vent open for air circulation.

Just move to Wyoming so you don't have to worry about humidity. )Steven

OTOH condensation makes for a good frog pond!

A cover is only going to make it worse. I am very much in the No Cover Club.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

@stemc33 - never been to Wyoming, but that sounds enticing!Mike - (1)LBGE, HeaterMeter v4.2.4

Not really something i have to deal with alot being here in Albuquerque. Our average humidity i think is less that 10% except this time of year its Monsoon season here so it can average 20%-40%
But i agree open that bottom vent get some air moving

I must just be lucky. I live in the humidity capitol of the world (Georgia) and I use the heavy black cover, the new style, and have never had an issue.
