Has anyone tried the Dr BBQ Memphis Dry Rib Recipe? Two hours on at 275 than wrap with apple juice and cider vinegar (I would use a foil tray) for 1 hr and then back on the egg indirect for 10 minutes.

Haven't tried that one yet. I have used his competition pork butt recipe with great success.LBGE, Marietta, GA

Dr BBQ is my hero. Cooked many of his book recipes. Rubs are really good. Did a duck a couple weeks ago and was killer.Lovin' my Large Egg since May 2012 (Richmond, VA) ... and makin' cookbooks at https://FamilyCookbookProject.com

The ribs were very tender. Used pecan wood per the recipe. Did not get the smoke ring I wanted. Flavor profile was good, however I messed up the rub ingredient proportions. Next time I may try a different rub and use a different wood.
