@Biggreenpharmacist‌ . You don't actually have to hit the edit button. Just click on the thumbnail right after you post and delete.

Troll hunter and helpful "how to" instructional posts; your value to the forum knows no bounds!  :D

If you have a minute, would you please comment on the addition of "(pic heavy)" that many add to their thread titles? IMO, it's not really necessary. I'm curious to know what you think.

Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

Thanks, but can't get iPhone to delete after inserting image, even with a stylus pen.
    I'll check error 2.

It must be an iPhone thing as pharmacist had the same issue. Try stem's suggestion at the end of page 1 and start of page 2.

"Just click on the thumbnail right after you post and delete". Seemed to work for pharm.

Try another. Attach a photo...insert image, click post, then try to delete the photo. It worked for pharm.

    Lol

I just think some put it to draw more people into their thread as we all love pics. I doubt they're doing it because they're worried about the page loading slowly. Either way, not really necessary.

That's what I had to do Mattman.
Extra steps, but not a terrible inconvenience.

Just put @ before the users name. Works easy if they have a single name.

Try one more though...you don't have to click edit at all. Just want to make sure we have the steps for iOS on lock.

    Another attempt as suggested.

Okay, when I select "insert image" the image gets put in the body, but when I touch "delete" the iPhone does not accept or acknowledge the request.
So, I'm sending this & will leave it up for 15 or 20 minutes & then edit out the thumbnail.

Even still, the iPhone posts the image sideways & have to click on image to get it in the correct orientation. :(
Most images I've seen look better after clicking on them anyway.

On your iPhone you should be able to edit your post immediately after posting it. Then click on the thumbnail and you will get the delete option. No need to wait 15-20 minutes.

I think the trick is deleting the image immediately after clicking post. It appears to not work before you post it...unless you edit.

Try downloading chrome...I bet it will work better than Safari.

I use Safari and always have to edit to delete thumbnails. I'll give Chrome a try and see if that works without the edit.
