Russ Makes 312 Turkeys Look Easy....

Russ (Egger: RAH) invited us out to the world's largest turkey bbq in Aneta, North Dakota. I was in awe watching Russ and his crew cook 312 turkeys! I get nervous as hell cooking 1 turkey, I couldn't even imagine doing another 311 at the same time! Watching him add/remove cinder blocks to control the heat and add charcoal to certain areas that need to finish at different times is simply amazing. He is one seriously talented individual. A true artist!

Here in northeast Georgia it is very common to have fundraiser bbq chicken cooks. Pits will typically hold 500-750 chicken halves.
