ive seen pictures with 7 whole chickens being cooked at one time, it was a little tight but doable. 4 (8) pound pork butts fit easily for pulled pork sandwiches. heres a pic of 2 8 pound briskets and 2 8 pound porkbutts i did for fathers day. the beauty of these types of cooks is that the meat is all cooked before guests arrive and there is no need to man the grill, just sit back and relax. i had 10 over that day, i think i could have served 50.

thats on my large, a little tight, and a little problamatic holding temps, but it worked fine. as the meat shrank, the airflow increased, causing me to lower the vent settings on a regular bases.fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

JROB,[p]I have cooked 42 lbs of pork butt for pulled pork at one time on the large BGE. That was 5 butts: 3 on the bottom, 2 on top of a grid extender.
