What's your favorite commercial rub?

Man that's kinda hard to narrow down. I would have to say if I could only have one I'd probably pick plowboy's yardbird. That stuff is great on everything.

Dizzy Pig, hands down is the best I've used.Marietta, East Cobb, GA

I am real happy with Dizzy Pig, although lately I have been trying Oakridge BBQ rubs, and really enjoying them. Looking forward to trying some Habanero Death Dust wings for tonight!Large BGE, Mini BGEMorgantown, PA

Texas BBQ rubs are real good. Oakrigde rubs. The slabs is real good and I tried meat church cow rub and really liked that. Have some ribs going now with meat church honey rub.

Three Little Pigs is what I have been using and really like it.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

I like the Dizzy Pig line, but Bad Byrons on pork chops is hard to beat!Louisville, GA - 2 Large BGE's

Trying to remember the last time I bought one. I just looked in my spice cabinet and there are none to be found. I prefer to make my own. That way, I know what's in them... and what's not! Also, I can better control the salt content (which my doc says I have to do). There's one commercial rub out there that contains, among many other things, charcoal, MSG, propylene glycol (which I understand is an aircraft deicer), silicon dioxide (sand!) and more sodium than a box of Morton's. No thanks.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Correct, Sticky Pig is available, have a jar of sauce in the fridge. Blues Hog is very good on pork. I think the Blues Hog comes from Perry MO. I had heard they were once in business together.

Really like Dizzy Pig, but I'm just now getting into Rubs.
Raging River is awesome on Salmon and Pork.
Dizzy Dust is awesome on just about everything.
Unfortunately, SWMBO can't eat too much salt - so we're almost forced to make our own..
Mini BGE, KJ Classic - Black, Cookshack SM025, Weber Gasser (mostly for Kamado storage!) -
I think I saw that dizzy dust had a salt free on their website..

@Carolina Q would you elaborate please on what brand that is? I don't care for airplane deicer in my food!Bristow Virginia XL&Mini One of the best feelings in life is watching other people enjoy the food I cooked!

We carry over 60 great dry rubs here at the Egg-store, so I do try to sample each to help customers with their choices if needed.
My favorites are Yardbird by Plowboys, Dizzy Dust by Dizzy Pig and Rub Company "Barbeque".
Although the new rub from Simply Marvelous called "Pepper-cow" is very good. Meant for beef, but now I have expanded use to chicken and love it.

For Butts I use Three Little Pigs Kansas City Champonship Rub, for ribs I love using Rib Rub from The Shed. For sauce, currently my favorite is also from The Shed call Southern Sweet.

Too many things in it that I can't, or don't want to, eat.Propylene glycol is GRAS (generally recognized as safe) in food, but I'll pass.

I've been using Willingham's for ribs and Dizzy Pig Shakin the Tree on chicken.

I really love Jim's Own Sauce Smokey rub, but enjoy all their rubs and sauces.
Was using Bad Byron's, but switched over to Jim's Own. Was finding I had to add stuff to Bad Byrons.

I also generally make my own, but if I am using commercial I like strawberry's for cuts of smoked pork http://www.strawsbbq.com/ and hard 8 for beef, smoked or grilled http://www.hardeightbbq.com/index.html (you can't order from the site, but you can call & order).

i love Dizzy Pig stuff and I also really dig the pork rub from Jack's Old South as well.
After that I've had some good response from Bone Sucking Sauce pork rub.
gettin lucky in kentucky! 2 XL eggs! -
I prefer the unconventional rubs offered by Dizzy Pig. All their rubs are high quality, but I'm intrigued by the highly original offerings like Tsunami Spin and Raging River, among others.

I'm a huge fan of Bad Byron's Butt Rub. It's savory, with a slight kick to it.
-
@Big_Green_Craig, if you ever want something similar, but IMO a little better, try the Jim's Own Sauce Smokey rub I noted above.
