Looking to cook Spatchcock for the first time... But the plate setter, grate, extender won't fit under my dome, on my Medium. I wanted to cook potatoes in the chicken drippings. Ideas? Can I do direct with raised grid?
Thanks all

Will your pan fit in the PS? If so go Ps legs up,airspace, veggie pan, grid and then chicken.-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Henderson, Ky.

I always do spatchcock direct. From what I've read on this forum I believe that most do.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada

Raised direct works great if that give you enough room.
