First off I want to thank everyone on this forum. It is a wealth of information. I was making wings for the first time and researched making them here on the forum. As usual there were different ways and different recipes. I decided to cook them raised direct at 350. I cooked them for almost an hour before adding BBQ sauce. Before cooking them SWMBO decided to brine them for an hour. Not sure whether that helped or not. They really turned out great.

I too did wings for first time tonight. 400 direct raised grid (AR). Prep was one day marinade of teriyaki, this aftn i trimmed some excess skin and added EVOO And cornstarch and a bit of Tony Chachere cajun. Tried 15 min each side, a little overdone but we ironically used to LIKE overcooked PizzaK so wife declared em great. ( gotta love my wife :-) ). This is cook # 6 I think so I'll keep pluggin away Also tried a split zuchinni.. Evoo only.. Too long on each side though. Added mozz and parm near the end. Wifey claimed to love this too. Jaime is just afraid to discourage me. Lol Everything got eaten , we liked it, but it WILL GET BETTER!Doug/Jaime in Tucker, GA Could almost walk to BGE Mothership LBGE
