    The shame of it with all our technology is that it could go missing, And then, the whole world cannot find it. All these friends and relatives not knowing what happened to the people. Pretty sad state of affairs.

    Oh man, don't get me started on that score. I got into a pretty heated argument once with a graduate student here who actually thought there was some validity to the moon-landing "hoax". He'd read a bunch of things on the internet and managed to convince himself that literally hundreds of people at NASA were keeping the secret.

    It would have been epic if there were 108 episode total.
    But most probably it was 108 days lost watching the series!

    @FlyingTivo‌ @nolaegghead‌ I still stand by that the first three seasons of LOST is the best TV of all time. From a cinematic aspect, script/acting, etc, totally groundbreaking. Breaking Bad is the all around best series of all time, but there was something magic about the first three seasons of LOST.

    I agree with eggcelsior; as a series nothing tops The Wire, although I think that is because HBO pushed David Chase to make too many episodes of The Sopranos; when that was good, it was the best, but there is too much filler.

    @nolaegghead

    I'll one up you - David Simon is the best showrunner of all time.

    Now that is meta.
  • Chris_WangChris_Wang Posts: 1,253
    @Eggcelsior‌ Well, The Wire was no Sopranos. Hell, it was no Seinfeld for that matter.

    Speaking of theories, everyone with kids should be familiar with The Pixar Theory:
