So sorry, I do not know what I would do without my sidekick but I think he still has quite a few years left.  He truly is a great friend.

Good looking friend. We lost our lab three weeks ago. We had the old man for 13 1/2 years. Tough to lose one.

Sorry for your  loss. Dogs are people too and you can't ask for better friends. They give you so much and ask only for your love in return. Hang in there.

Always tough and always a hole in your life.  But 17 years is a great run!  And as said above, rainbow bridge awaits.

I had a Blue Tick Heeler (mix, found him in the woods as a puppy) that looked a lot like your buddy, Elvis.  After 20 years, I still miss him a lot.

Something else to think about.. We all  have so much going on in out lives and our dogs are a part of it.  From our dog's (pets's) stand point, they give us 100% because we are their world so give your pet a hug tonight.

So sorry.  That's our agreement when we bring home that little puppy.  Because our life spans, if we're lucky, and have decent genes are so much longer than any puppy, this moment is going to come.  Damn I wish it weren't so!!!  Wiley is laying here at my feet - he thinks he's a puppy, but at 12 he's starting to slow down.  Where does the time go?  I understand your pain.  All the best.

Sorry for your loss. I fell your pain. Our 10 year old Jack Russel Is dying at this moment with kidney failure. We have her here at home trying to keep her as comfortable as possible. Trying to avoid a trip to vet to have her put to sleep. She associates the vet's office with pain from all the needles and IV's this past month. We pray that she can die peacefully here at home. She is not experiencing pain but getting very weak.
