WOW!!! Very cool. Might have to make a road trip to come check it out.
BTW, that is a vintage medium you have in the "family photo".....early '90s?
Thanks for the pictures.

I wonder if the Pomeranian would be best sous-vide then a quick sear! Just sayin', I've never had Pomeranian on the grill.

Wow! Thanks for all of the pics- that is certainly something to marvel at! Do you get to do demo cooks on it? I want to see at least 80 lbs of pork butt on the main gridWhich came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

We'll be having it on display January 10th and 11th at our retail store in Springfield, MO. After that it will be part of our HBA Show show Jan 31st - Feb 2nd . From then on we will be doing some serious demo cooks with it, and reporting specs back to Big Green Egg. I knew you all deserved to be the first to see it.

You should see the springs on this beast. It makes lifting the lid easy as an XL.

How big is the cooking grid on that monster?
-
Just measured the cooking grid: 29.25 in making the overall cooking surface 672 in². And it weighs about 30 lbs by itself

How deep is the fire box & ring? From the fire grate to the cooking grate? It looks a lot deeper.
The lid looks much higher too. My XL is a later one, but it's still hard to get it loaded up when you have the platesetter in.
